Nowon English Village Wolgye CampSix creative and energetic teachers needed to start teaching in April. Arrival in Korea is scheduled for late March. Students study English in a simulated immersion environment through role-playing, dialogue conversation and other traditional and non-traditional teaching methods. Classrooms at Nowon Wolgae English Village are customized for the immersion curricula with simulated classes that may include a police office, bank post office and others. Salary: 2.0 million won less taxes, national pension and medical insurance.Contract Lengths: 1 year or 6 monthsWorking hours: Teachers will work 5 days a week and will teach 128 – classes a month. Teachers will be scheduled for six or seven classes a day between 9am and 8pm. Students: Kindergarten, Elementary and Middle School students.Housing: Teachers will be provided housing.Meals: Teachers will be provided three meals a day. Transportation: Teachers hired for one year will be provided with a one way ticket to Korea. Upon completion of a one year contract teachers will be provided with a return ticket to point of departure. Teachers who sign six month contact will be provided with a return ticket only. Teachers who are in Korea will be provided with a round trip ticket to Fukuoka, Japan. Holidays: Teachers are entitled to seven (7) paid vacation days. Teachers will be given Korean National Holidays off. If teachers are asked to teach on a National Holiday, they will be paid a 50,000 won holiday bonus.Orientation and Training: Orientation will take place at Suyu Campus. Training will take place at both locations.Curriculum: All curriculum will be prepared by the English Village Programming team.You must meet the following qualifications to apply: 1. You must be a native English speaker (North America, UK, New Zealand, Ireland, Australia, and South Africa). 2. Applicants must have a minimum Bachelor’s degree in any major. 3. Valid passport 4. You must send your original diploma and official sealed transcripts to Korea in order to be granted an E2 teaching visa. 5. Applicants with teaching experience preferred.
